Jamie Hall, LPC (she/her)
Introduction
Hi! My name is Jamie (she/her), and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado working with adults. I am the founder of Down the Hall Counseling, a practice I created after several years in community mental health and group psychiatric settings. Like many healthcare workers since 2020, I experienced burnout and realized the need to build something different—something accessible, sustainable, and truly affirming for both my clients and myself.
I specialize in working with neurodivergent, anxious, and traumatized adults, helping you explore and accept all parts of yourself. My style is realistic and humanistic, and I see therapy as a reflection of the relationship we build together. In our work, we explore your traumas, needs, and patterns with curiosity and compassion, creating space for growth and healing.
I use an integrative approach tailored to your needs, drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), attachment-based interventions, Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). These methods allow me to support you in cultivating self-compassion, healing from painful experiences, and moving toward a life that feels meaningful and aligned with your values.
I am honored to work with marginalized communities and provide trauma-informed, social justice–based care. As a Queer provider, I offer gender- and identity-affirming support for LGBTQIA+ clients, and I align my work with Health at Every Size (HAES) principles and intuitive eating. For those who find it meaningful, I also integrate metaphysical and holistic practices—such as intuition, tarot, oracle, or spiritual resourcing—into the therapeutic process.
I believe that healing happens in connection, and I highly value combining formal training with lived experience, intuition, and authenticity. Above all, my goal is to create a therapeutic space that feels safe, affirming, and transformative, where you can reconnect with your strengths and build a life that reflects who you truly are.
